Lev Leviev Diamonds was again Israel's largest exporter of polished diamonds in 2008 despite a 20 percent fall in the company's exports. Leviev's LLD Diamonds exported $417 million worth of polished in 2008, compared with $522 million in 2007, according to Israel's Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor.

Israel's top 25 diamond exporters sold a combined $2.57 billion worth of polished during 2008, the ministry reported. That compares with the top 25 companies on the 2007 list who exported $3 billion worth of goods.
