AROUND MISSISSIPPI -- Penn National Gaming Inc., which operates three casinos in Mississippi, during the fourth quarter of 2008 posted a net loss of $378.6 million, and for the full year lost $153.3 million. Penn's 2008 guidance for the quarter was net income of $29.9 million and $255. I million for the year.
