TNK-BP's Orenburg operations boost investment in geological exploration 50% in 2008
ORENBURG. Mar 2 (Interfax) - TNK-BP's (RTS: TNBP) operations in the Orenburg region increased investment in geological exploration by 50% to 1.67 billion rubles in 2008, OJSC Orenburgneft (RTS: ORNB).
The increase in reserves in 2007 came to 31.024 million tonnes.
Last year, they increased to 75.84 million tonnes, which was an absolute record," the company said in a statement.
The statement said that in 2008, reserves replenishment by TNK-BP's Orenburg-based enterprises came to 440% to production.
