Jun. 8--Augusta travelers won't be able to ride an airline bus to the Atlanta airport after all, but they may one day have more choices of airlines if a $60,000 study turns up opportunity for another airline.
Atlanta-based discount airline ValuJet won't be offering bus service from Augusta when it begins service to three other cities June 19.
Published reports based on an interview with a company executive had said the airline would include Augusta and Columbus when the service began to other cities within 150 miles of Atlanta.
On Friday company spokesman Marcia Scott said Augusta had never been under consideration.
