ADELAIDE - New car and truck sales slumped by almost 22 per cent in February, but Australia's top selling company insists things aren't as bad as they seem.

The Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) said on Wednesday 70,241 new vehicles were retailed last month, down 21.9 per cent from 89,898 sold in the same month last year.
