INDIANAPOLIS, June 13 /PRNewswire/ -- American Trans Air, Inc. (ATA), the principal subsidiary of Amtran, Inc. (Nasdaq-NNM: AMTR), today reported that its May 1997 scheduled service passenger load factor increased 11.7 points to 75.2%. For the month, on a consolidated basis, ATA flew 703.5 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs) and 1.0 billion available seat miles (ASMs), and carried 426,727 revenue passengers.
