After a grind-it-out matchup featuring two physical teams, 30 students stormed the court surrounding the victorious Warriors on Tuesday night after Clinton won the Section III Class B-2 basketball championship, knocking off unbeaten Canastota 31-23 at Jamesville-DeWitt.
Clinton will play Cazenovia at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the overall B title game at the Utica Auditorium.
"I think we were giving them some problems defensively," Clinton coach Tom Trevisani said.
