The tree frog is not your typical frog. Most frogs live in or near water. The tree frog spends most of its time in a tree or on plant stems. Many frogs are known for their keen jumping ability. This frog prefers climbing. Most frogs are green, but the tree frog changes color to blend in.
The tree frog may alter the color and pattern of its skin to match its surroundings. Some tree frogs are green when they perch on a leaf, and then turn brown when they move to a branch or tree trunk.
