Billacura DAVAO CITY, March 2 (PNA) -- Davao City gathered a total of 14 gold, eight silver and two bronze medals to pull away from the field in the elementary division after 18 events played in the Davao Region Athletic Association (DAVRAA) Meet 2009 swimming competition on Saturday at the Mati Centennial Sports Complex in Davao Oriental.

The Island Garden City of Samal (Igacos) was at distant second with a 2-4-3 gold-silver-bronze record, while Mati (1-0-3), Panabo City (1-0-1), Compostela Valley (0-6-7), and Davao Oriental (0-0-2) trailed behind.
