Insurers' regional offices provide a significantly greater quality of service than their head offices or offshore centres, according to a poll of intermediaries by LV=.
The research found 58 per cent of advisers believed they received a better level of service from regional offices, compared with 12 per cent who preferred the service from insurers' head offices and 0.4 per cent who plumped for insurers' offshore call centres.
Among the benefits offered by regional offices, intermediaries highlighted personal service, the ability for insurers to get a better understanding of their business and regional affinity.
