Although it appears that many of the companies involved in this field use a distillation process, each one has its own special techniques and tweaks for optimum separation. Naturally, that information is closely guarded.
In fact, due mainly to the very proprietary nature of this business, two companies declined to participate in this discussion of separation, not wanting to reveal anything about their secret processes.
