Jun. 17--United Airlines invites travelers to "fly the friendly skies." But for now, its flight attendants are forecasting nothing but stormy weather.
Stalled contract negotiations have pushed flight attendants to picket and threaten to strike. Their campaign, called C.H.A.O.S. -- Create Havoc Around Our System -- landed at Sky Harbor Airport on Monday, with about 50 flight attendants picketing Terminal 2.
"United has made record profits, and we deserve our share," said flight attendant Tim Kirkham, who led the picket line in loud chants.
