It is rare that approximately 70 percent of New Yorkers can agree on anything. However, this is the case with wine in grocery stores. They want the convenience, variety, information and lower prices that only competition can bring. They also want the 2,000-plus jobs (based on a reputable economic study) and the $159 million that wine in grocery stores will bring.
