Mikki Moore was already leaning toward signing with the Celtics after he was waived by the Kings a couple of weeks ago, but something Doc Rivers said sealed the deal.

"Doc told me I've been a Celtic for a long time," Moore said, "I just didn't have the jersey yet."

The 7-foot, 225-pound Moore is a high-energy player, and the Celtics are a high-energy team.

"I bring a lot of stuff they've already got," Moore said, "hustle, heart, teamwork, passion for the game. I'm just trying to boost the bench up and get everybody going, just have a positive attitude on and off the court."
