Feb. 23, 2008, was a memorable day for me because that's when I finished Part 4 of the Certified Management Accountant (CMA[R]) exam. I had taken the exam part by part as I had tight schedules in my office as well as obligations as head of my family. After completing the exam, I felt encouraged and hopeful. My hope did not fade while I was waiting for the results, which arrived in April. I passed! And I received congratulatory letters from the chair of the Board of Regents and the vice president of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA).
