More than 4,500 N.C. high school seniors received help completing their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on FAFSA Day last Saturday, February 21, at 65 locations across the state. This is a 25 percent increase over last year's FAFSA Day attendance.
College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) and the N.C. Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NCASFAA) sponsor FAFSA Day. Historically, college campuses serve as host sites; however, the program expanded this year to include branches of the N.C. State Employees' Credit Union and N.C. Cooperative Extension Service.
