Baker Hughes Incorporated (NYSE:BHI) announced that Martin S. Craighead, 49, has been appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and is expected to assume his new duties on April 30, 2009. In this position, he will report to Chad C. Deaton, President, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Baker Hughes. Baker Hughes also announced that David H. Barr, 59, will retire from the company on April 30, 2009 (see also Baker Hughes Incorporated).
