Speakers at the 2009 SEMI Industry Strategy Symposium (ISS) said an economic recovery may come late this year, with early glimmers coming in the second quarter. Equipment revenues will fall to ~$30B this year, rebounding to ~$42B next year and ~$52B in 2011, according to a prediction by Dan Hutcheson, CEO of VLSI Research Inc. (Santa Clara, Calif.).
