In about a month, public health workers from coast to coast will celebrate APHA's National Public Health Week 2009, which takes place April 6-12. To help organizers prepare, the Association is offering a wealth of resources and ideas for not only planning events, but for connecting with colleagues across the nation.

With a theme of "Building the Foundation for a Healthy America," this year's observance highlights the need to "focus on ensuring that core public health principles such as preventing disease and promoting health are the foundation upon which our nation's current dialogue about health reform is built," according to a National Public Health Week 2009 ...
