Lowe's earns award for protecting the environment through marketing energy-efficient products and solutions for the home

MOORESVILLE, N.C., March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Lowe's has earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) 2009 ENERGY STAR(R) Retail Partner of the Year Award. The award recognizes Lowe's exceptional contributions to reducing greenhouse gas emissions through leadership in marketing and educating consumers about energy-efficient products and practices. Lowe's will be recognized at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. on March 31.
