Since saying good-bye to Broadway about a decade ago, Irish dance icon Colin Dunne has delved into the world of contemporary dance. If you saw his first full-length solo Out of Time, which premiered to rave reviews in Ireland last year, you might not recognize the former Riverdance star. From the way he dangles his arms to his use of text and film onstage, Dunne has taken an experimental approach to finding what he calls the "essence" of Irish dance. Assistant editor Siobhan Burke caught up with him recently to learn more about Out of Time and where he plans to go next.
