PORTLAND, Ore. -- Knowledge Learning Corporation (KLC) has made a proposal to acquire the outstanding shares of Nobel Learning Communities, Inc. (Nasdaq: NLCI) for $13.50 per share. On September 22, 2008, KLC had made a proposal of $17.00 per share which was not accepted by the Nobel Board of Directors. Subsequently, on November 7, 2008, Nobel announced a process to explore the potential sale of the company and thus invited bids for Nobel.
