Article: CBOE Files to List Options, LEAPS(R) on the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), Dow Jones Transportation Average (DJTA) And Dow Jones Utility Average (DJUA)

CHICAGO, June 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to list options on the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), the Dow Jones Transportation Average (DJTA) and the Dow Jones Utility Average (DJUA).

Pending SEC approval, CBOE expects to launch cash-settled, European-style index options on the DJIA, the DJTA and the DJUA this Fall, with options on other Dow Jones indexes to follow. (European-style options can be exercised only on the final day of trading.) CBOE also plans to list LEAPS(R) (Long- term Equity AnticiPation Securities(R)) on the three indexes.
