The Ex Libris Group is now a member of the PrestoPrime consortium, a European Union project to research and develop tools and processes for the long-term preservation of digital audiovisual assets in archives, libraries, museums, and collections. Other partners in the program include the Institut National de l'Audiovisuel in France, Radiotelevisione Italiana in Italy, and the British Broadcasting Corp. The PrestoPrime project will be carried out over a 4-year schedule.
