SACRAMENTO, Calif., June 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) today obtained a temporary restraining order from a Los Angeles Superior Court bringing a halt an aggressive Anheuser-Busch "Frequent Drinker" program that offers consumers an array of merchandise in return for drinking Budweiser, but fails to disclose how much consumers are actually required to pay to receive the flashy beer mugs, "Keg-A-Rators," pool tables and other products. The Court ordered Anheuser-Busch to take immediate steps to stop the program until further notice.
