Jun. 30--It is summer and the living is easy -- except for those Utahns stuck on the job with little or no vacation time saved.
Not so long ago, Utahns along with most other American workers could count on spending several weeks each year on vacation, some behind the wheel fielding the inevitable "when do we get there" queries.
During the past decade, though, the average amount of paid-vacation time workers receive has been slipping across the country, declining from 12.17 days in 1987 to 11.37 days this year, according to a study by Primark Decision Economics.
