THEY are the unsung heroes who help make Birmingham's biggest nights out go with a real swing.
And now some of the army of workers based on the city's most famous strip of bars, clubs and restaurants have enjoyed their own moment in the spotlight at the Best of Broad Street Awards.
The event, now in its fourth year, rewards the faces behind the bars and restaurants.
City VIPs including boxing legend "Big" Joe Egan, councillors and corporate bosses were on hand to present awards at the ceremony, held at the International Convention Centre.
