"Generation Y loves brands that speak to them. We think Delia's is one of those brands," said Steve Kahn, president and chief executive officer of Delia's, the junior catalog retailer, at the company's first annual meeting Monday.
The meeting, attended by about 30 shareholders, was held at the law firm of Proskauer Rose here.
Delia's executives reviewed 1996 and spoke optimistically about growth for the company, which went public last December. Kahn said the firm did $30 million in business in 1996, and added that analysts have projected sales will double this year.
