Article: Pro Air Begins Passenger Air Service from Detroit City Airport

DETROIT, July 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Pro Air Inc. began passenger air service today. Utilizing brand new Boeing 737-400 jet aircraft, the new airline's inaugural flight departed Detroit City Airport at 9:20 a.m. non-stop to Baltimore/Washington International Airport.

Pro Air initially will operate two daily round-trip flights each from Detroit City Airport to Baltimore/Washington D.C. and Indianapolis. The airline will add two more daily non-stop flights each between Detroit City Airport and Newark, N.J./New York effective July 14, 1997 and between Detroit City Airport and Milwaukee effective Aug. 1, 1997.
