Cincinnati Bell's president and chief executive, John T. LaMacchia, understands the difficulty investors and even industry analysts sometimes have trying to characterize exactly what it is that his company does.
The first guess is obvious: It's a telephone company.
LaMacchia is quick to say that Cincinnati Bell also is a marketing company. And a billing company.
No matter what you call it, LaMacchia insists that you please not label the 124-year-old Cincinnati-based telecommunications firm a turnaround company.
