MAYOR MARK STODOLA isn't certain what the future holds for new development in the Block 2 area of downtown Little Rock. But he is convinced the city should expand its role in determining what will happen.
Stodola felt so strongly that he led an effort to reacquire an ownership stake in Block 2 through the Little Rock Advertising & Promotion Commission. The effort was backed with the possibility of an eminent domain action to force a sale if a negotiated deal couldn't be struck.
