PHNOM PENH, Cambodia _ The man who installed himself as Cambodia's sole ruler following a weekend coup made his first public appearance Thursday, gesturing wildly at a press conference, rambling and comparing his deposed rival to disgraced boxer Mike Tyson.
Hun Sen, the second prime minister until his military takeover ousted first prime minister Prince Norodom Ranariddh and ended their shaky political marriage, rejected claims that his power grab was illegal. He insisted that Ranariddh ``is using the tactics of Mike Tyson by biting the ears.''
