AS the fifth series of The Apprentice was launched yesterday, it was revealed that Sir Alan Sugar prefers making money to having sex.

In the first episode, trainee stockbroker Ben Clarke, 22, from Northern Ireland, brags: "To me making money is better than sex."

And in a press conference after the programme was shown the question was put to Sir Alan, who turns 62 next week.

He said: "You should have asked me that 30 years ago. Now definitely making money is my priority."
