PALO ALTO, Calif. and CARY, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 10, 1997 --Hewlett-Packard Company and SAS Institute -- selected as data-mining leaders in a recent META Group survey -- today announced a collaborative effort to offer enterprisewide data-mining solutions. These solutions combine SAS Institute's data-mining software and expertise with HP's consulting and integration services and HP 9000 servers and HP NetServer systems.
The HP and SAS Institute data-mining service will "mine" customers' data on HP 9000 servers at SAS Institute's world headquarters in Cary, N.C. For a service fee starting at $30,000, a customer can receive within four to six weeks a ...
