DALLAS, July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Thanks to a Deposit Fraud Detection System recently installed at the BankBoston and the bank's dedicated personnel, a Nigerian gang allegedly passing fraudulent checks through new accounts was apprehended. Because the bank was able to identify these bad checks at the time of deposit, more than $40,000 in initial losses was prevented.
