EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 15, 1997--Peerless Systems Corp. (NASDAQ:PRLS), a leader in embedded imaging systems, Tuesday announced the incorporation of its new subsidiary company, Peerless Systems Co. Ltd. in Tokyo, and the appointment of Shunsuke Fukuda as the new company's managing director.
Peerless Systems Co. Ltd. in Japan was officially established July 1, 1997. The incorporation of the new Peerless subsidiary company enables Peerless to strengthen its ability to manage business and engineering development with OEMs in Japan, as well as OEMs in the emerging digital imaging markets of China and Korea.
