MoH standardizes clinical use of medical technologies
Shanghai. March 17. INTERFAX-CHINA - The Ministry of Health (MoH) has issued a set of management methods that will help to standardize the use of medical technologies in China's hospitals, it announced on March 16.
The management methods will come into effect as of May 1 this year.
The MoH has classified medical technologies into three categories, where the third category comprises of high-risk technologies involving critical medical ethics decisions, such as those used in gender reassignment operations, organ transplants, medical diagnosis using artificial intelligence and tumor hyperthermia ...
