GREENVILLE, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 11, 1997--KEMET Corporation will provide tantalum capacitors for repair of the space station MIR, recently damaged after colliding with an unmanned supply module.
KEMET's T110 tantalum capacitors have been specifically requested because of their extremely high reliability and statistically infinite lifespan. Once installed, these vital components, which must withstand temperatures below -150 Celsius, will ensure the proper functioning of MIR's many electronic control and communication systems.
