DALLAS, July 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Fresh America Corp. (Nasdaq: FRES), a Dallas-based food distribution management company, and Alliant Foodservice, Inc. of Deerfield, Illinois, one of the nation's largest broad line foodservice distributors, announced today the expansion of their Alliant/Fresh America produce program.
As part of the expansion, Alliant Foodservice has created a separate National Produce Category Management organization. Kent Sutherland, Vice President and National Category Manager for the organization will head the nation wide efforts and be housed at Fresh America's headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
