BANGKOK, March 20 Asia Pulse - Thailand's Commerce Minister Pornthiva Nakasai will pay a two-day official visit to Cambodia, starting March 22, aimed at boosting trade between the two countries, a ministry spokesman said Thursday.
Mrs. Pornthiva's upcoming visit comes as combined trade between the neighbouring countries reached US$2.13 billion last year, but fell dramastically in January due to the global financial crisis.
Thailand exports sugar, furnished oil products, iron, steel, cement, beverages and chemical products to Cambodia. Goods imported from Cambodia are vegetables, fruits, meat, garments and clothes.
