It was only fitting that devoted Virginia wine connoisseurs Christopher Cummins and Erin McNelis became engaged while on a weekend wine-tasting getaway in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Chris, 31, a Navy lieutenant assigned to the VAW-120 squadron in Norfolk, and Erin , 30, a legal assistant in Virginia Beach, share a love of fine wine. It's not uncommon for the couple, who have visited about 80 Virginia wineries in the past two years, to pack up and explore.
"We have a magazine about Virginia wineries, and we decided to go to all of them," Erin said.
