BEIJING, March 23 Asia Pulse - China has worked out a new economic stimulus plan to counter severe economic difficulties, according to Jia Kang, head of fiscal sciences research institution with the Ministry of Finance (MOF).

The central government will launch the plan in accordance with the economic indicators for the second quarter, Jia disclosed.

This is in response to Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao's call for launching more forceful measures to boost the national economy, expected to pick up in the second half of this year.
