In April, 2008, the Education Research Center released its study, Cities in Crises: A Special Analytic Report on High School Graduation. The report ranks the graduation rates for the principal school districts serving the nation's 50 largest cities. The Cleveland Metropolitan School District ranks 48th with a 34.1 graduation rate in 2003-2004.
