WORCESTER, Mass. -- The following is a statement from Saint Vincent Hospital:
"The Massachusetts Nurses Association has created some considerable confusion by mischaracterizing a new policy developed by the Saint Vincent Hospital administration and medical staff to provide the best possible patient care when our emergency department is experiencing extremely heavy patient volume.
