This summer the USS Nashville (LPD 13) was actively engaged in evacuating authorized individuals from Lebanon. There were a lot of logistical requirements for this type of event that are unconventional. Three of my divisions (Material Support, Food Service, and Sales and Service) prepared a summary of their participation and some lessons learned through this unique experience, which you will read below. I also included communications lessons learned.
