At a ceremony on Oct. 4, 2006, at the Navy Supply Corps School, RADM Dan Stone, 43rd Chief of Supply Corps, recognized the third Navy Supply Corps Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, CAPT Francis A. Derby, SC, USN (Ret.). CAPT Derby was recognized as a result of his support of the Supply Corps and its families with proactive leadership and generosity throughout 23 years of active duty and more than 30 years as a civilian.
