On May 25, 2007, the Baghdad Navy Supply Corps Association sponsored a Supply Corps Community workshop in the Al Faw Presidential Palace Grand Ballroom at Camp Victory. The focus of the workshop highlighted the logistics aspects of the recent troops surge in Iraq and provided a venue for career development and mentorship opportunities.
Chairman of the event, CAPT Greg Becht, Multi-National Corps Iraq (MNC-I) CJ8 LOGCAP Budget Officer, and Co-Chairman LCDR Jim Shelton, Contracting Officer with the Joint Contracting Command Iraq/Afghanistan planned the workshop in which over 30 Supply Corps officers and enlisted were in attendance with a 50/50 ratio of active duty ...
