On a biennial basis, the Royal Navy Logistics Branch holds a conference for its officers and warrant officers to discuss key issues that are affecting the branch. Responsible for the full range of N1/N4 and J1/J4 functionality within the Royal Navy, the Logistics Branch is the Royal Navy's equivalent of the U.S. Navy's Supply Corps.
This years conference took place in Portsmouth, England, in April and was hosted by the Chief Naval Logistics Officer (CNLO), Commodore David Steel, who is Admiral Thompson's equivalent within the Royal Navy.
