USF Holland closing Glenmont truck terminal
BETHLEHEM -- USF Holland plans to lay off 20 people locally as it shuts its truck terminal in Glenmont.
The layoffs are set to occur April 3, according to a notice filed with the state Department of Labor.
USF Holland is part of YRC Worldwide, which is based in Kansas. USF Holland also is closing a terminal in Syracuse.
Although the Labor Department notice says 39 people are impacted by the Albany shutdown, the company said only 20 remain in Glenmont because of previous layoffs.
