Carolina Herrera may be best known for the impeccably tailored clothing she designs for an upscale clientele.
But for the last two seasons, the designer of choice for the Ladies who Lunch has gone decidedly downtown, introducing into her apparel collection black leather, animal prints and even racy little cocktail dresses in black lace over red silk.
And that inspiration is now being felt in the fragrance side of Herrera's oeuvre.
